What does the AOX Clinical program cover?

Accepted Answer

AOX Clinical follows the complete AOX journey — from patient selection and smile-driven planning through surgery, immediate provisionalisation, restorative delivery, occlusion, maintenance and complication management. The emphasis is on real-world clinical decision-making and the coordination required between the treating dentist, surgeon, anaesthetic team and laboratory.

Am I eligible for one on one mentoring?

Priority is given to dentists who have completed a relevant ImplanTalk workshop. Participation and progression are subject to case suitability, patient consent and clinical approval.

Question 14

What are the pathways and fees for Single and Multiple Implants (Category One)?

Accepted Answer

I Do — mentor's patient; you observe the clinical case and workflow. AU$200 per case.
          We Do — your patient; you participate in at least 30% of the case with direct mentoring. AU$2,500 per case.
          You Do — your patient; you complete approximately 50% to 70% of the case with the mentor observing and guiding. AU$2,500 per case.

Question 15

What are the pathways and fees for AOX Full Arch Implant Rehabilitation (Category Two)?

Accepted Answer

I Do — mentor's patient; you observe the surgery and restorative workflow, including restorative observation. AU$1,500 per case.
          We Do — your patient; the mentor performs the surgery, and you complete the restorative phase. AU$12,000 per single arch.
          You Do — your patient; you perform the surgery with the mentor observing and guiding, and you complete the restorative phase. AU$12,000 per single arch.

Are there costs on top of the mentoring fee?

Implants, grafting materials and related components are charged separately.
          General anaesthesia and anaesthetic fees are charged separately.
          AOX mentoring fees shown are for one arch.

Will every case be accepted into the mentoring program?

Accepted Answer

No — all cases require assessment and approval before acceptance into the mentoring program, based on case suitability and clinical readiness.

Who is responsible for the patient's ongoing care?

Accepted Answer

The treating dentist remains responsible for appropriate patient assessment, records, consent and ongoing care throughout the mentoring pathway.

Across ImplanTalk's programs, the following are typically charged separately from the course or mentoring fee:
        
          Implants, grafting materials, laboratory fees and other consumables
          General anaesthetic, IV sedation and associated hospital, anaesthetist or facility fees
          Additional procedures outside the agreed treatment plan, which are quoted separately

Question 24

Does completing a workshop guarantee me a place in hands-on mentoring?

Accepted Answer

No. Completing a workshop does not automatically guarantee hands-on participation. Your involvement depends on demonstrated competence, case complexity and patient safety, and every case requires clinical assessment and approval first.

Question 25

Can the mentor take over during my procedure?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Dr Rashi Gupta may assume control of any part of a procedure if clinically necessary, and the level of hands-on participation may be adjusted before or during treatment if required for patient safety.

Does mentoring count as specialist training or accreditation?

Accepted Answer

No. Mentoring is case-based and does not constitute specialist training, accreditation, or a guarantee of independent clinical competency.

When are mentoring fees due?

All mentoring fees must be paid before the scheduled treatment date.
